My Background, My Journey

I have always had a love for science and nature, and a deep curiosity to understand the world around me.  I am passionate about learning, teaching, and being able to assist others in their journey of gaining knowledge and experience.  I find great motivation in invigorating conversations about the subject of your passion and am committed to providing the best quality products and services that I can.

I have over 12 years of experience with course curriculum design and development, and instruction on a variety of topics. As an instructional designer, I have partnered with various customers (both internal business partners and external clients) to identify and understand their training objectives to design, develop, and deliver training content to meet their training needs and objectives.

Additionally, I have greater than 20 years of quality assurance experience with application and implementation of international standards, (primarily ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO/IEC 17020), with extensive experience in forensic science and laboratory accreditation.

I have been a member of the Association of Forensic Quality Assurance Managers organization since 2003 and served as Vice-President, President Elect and Past President respectively from 2004-2006.  I have also been a member of the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors (ASCLD) since 2005

Prior to my Quality Assurance Manager and instructional design/instructor positions, I worked in the pharmaceutical industry studying Alzheimer disease, and in the biotechnology industry developing vaccines and/or antibiotics for gingivitis and STDs.
